Boissevain Books LLC was chartered in New York State as a limited liability corporation to republish out-of-print books by author-illustrator Hilda van Stockum (1908-2006). Boissevain is the maiden name of Hilda's mother Olga. (There already is a van Stockum Books! More than a century old, it is on the main square in the Hague, Holland; Theo van Gogh, a cousin of Vincent, once worked there.)
Boissevain Books LLC is managing rights for the Estate of Hilda van Stockum and is publishing memoirs and other books written by other members of Ms. van Stockum's family.
